The Hurricane Ridge Winter Sports Education Foundation invites you to a free, 90-minute introductory avalanche awareness presentation hosted by the Northwest Avalanche Center (NWAC) . This indoor session provides a foundational approach to managing winter risks before hitting the mountains.

In this session, an expert NWAC instructor will teach you how to: • Access & Read: Navigate official avalanche and mountain weather forecasts.

• Identify Hazards: Recognize the fundamental visual signs of avalanche danger.
