Superintendent Sula Jacobs said 3.6 million visitors came in 2025 during a presentation at Red Lion Inn; the park will perform summer road work—including closing Mora Campground and a one-lane road in Hoh Rain Forest—and host a public listening session for the Hurricane Ridge Lodge until Jan. 21.
The Port of Port Angeles is seeking an architectural and engineering team to design a 125,000 sqft manufacturing facility for aerospace composite production near William R.
Fairchild International Airport. Proposals are due Jan. 30 (date subject to extension) with a decision expected in February.
🏈 Sports
Port Angeles girls basketball team beat Kingston 59–48 with Lindsay Smith scoring 23, and the boys won 70–42 led by Brody Pierce.
The girls will travel to North Mason Friday while the swim team competes in North Kitsap at 3:30 and NWAC basketball airs tonight on KONP Newsradio.
