- ➤ Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Nesterly, and United Way of Clallam County will launch Olympic Home Share to connect homeowners with spare bedrooms with locals seeking stable housing on the North Olympic Peninsula. - ➤ Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue held an awards banquet in Port Angeles to honor career and volunteer members for their service. - ➤ Feiro Marine Life Center will break ground for a new building near Pebble Beach Park at 3 p.m. April 8, moving from its old City Pier site. - ➤ The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has launched a 12-month review of Olympic marmots (found only in high alpine meadows) to decide if they will be listed as threatened or endangered.
