- ➤ The Port Angeles Waterfront District will host the Welcome Back Coho event on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. near the Black Ball Ferry terminal as the vessel arrives from Victoria at noon. Attendees should wear red-and-white tops (per the request) with live music, treats, and a red carpet for dignitaries. Peninsula Daily News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Port Angeles Parks, Recreation and Facilities Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 at City Hall council chambers (321 E. Fifth St.) to discuss design options for replacing the Laurel Street stairs. City staff and RWD Landscape Architects will review the project’s history and invite public comments. Peninsula Daily News
