Amazon received its final permit from the City to build a 58,322 sqft facility on 25.6 acres at West Edgewood and South Critchfield Road; it must meet 14 conditions (dust control, stormwater permit, road improvements) during a construction period of 8 months that will create about 70 jobs.

Joe DeScala (4PA founder) told Port Angeles city council that his team removed over 400,000 lbs of trash from abandoned encampments in 4.5 years, including 40,000 lbs in late 2025.

He urged the council to adopt a reporting system as cleanup continues six days a week to protect waterways.
