The new Marine Life Center is slated for groundbreaking on Wednesday, April 8, next to Field Arts and Events Hall, with officials set to kick off a public fundraising effort as they work toward opening the 13,000 sqft center with upgraded aquariums and community exhibits in early 2028.
🏈 Sports
Former Peninsula player Ese Onakpoma is having an All-American season at Arizona Christian University and will open the NAIA National Tournament Friday at 5:00 p.m. in Chandler.
Former athletes Lexie Mackey, Allie Greene, and Parker Nickerson are also competing at Southern Nazarene, Haskell, and in the NWAC Final Four, respectively.
