- ➤ The city is restoring Ediz Hook boat launch after a December 19, 2024 King Tide event damaged floats and ramps; they are working with FEMA and have set aside $30,000 from a $128,000 grant match for design and assessments while maintenance continues and updates are provided to Salmon Club. - ➤ Clallam County saw strong timber revenue in 2025 with 9.5 million dollars from DNR lands, but 6.5 million dollars is projected for 2026 as legal challenges plus slower harvesting create uncertainty. County leaders will monitor the situation as timber sales support schools and local services. My Clallam County
