Clallam County commissioners are split over a plan to fund local arts and heritage programs with a one-tenth of 1 percent sales tax, with Commissioners Ozias and French in support while Commissioner Johnson opposes it due to weak economic conditions + potential tourism impacts.
They will engage with the public in the coming weeks to decide the next steps.
