- ➤ Renovations are underway at the Clallam Bay Corrections Center library branch as officials prepare to reopen it with a new collection and reentry resources for patrons. The facility, closed for six years, is set to open this fall. Peninsula Daily News

- ➤ A landslide closed a section of the Olympic Discovery Trail today from the old Rayonier Mill site to the Morse Creek trestle near Four Seasons Ranch. City crews + the Peninsula Trails Coalition are monitoring the damage and will clear the trail once conditions improve. My Clallam County
- ➤ A landslide closed part of the Olympic Discovery Trail from the Rayonier Mill to the Morse Creek trestle east of Port Angeles, leaving it unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists.
