- ➤ The Port Angeles School District held a community information night Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at 304 E. Park Ave. to discuss plans for a new $133 million high school and auditorium renovation, with construction in phases, and the high school scheduled to open in fall 2029. Peninsula Daily News

- ➤ Former Roughrider Jack Gladfelter set a personal best of 3:53.27 for Corban University at the Jenn Bowman Memorial 1,500-meter race last Saturday.
