- ➤ The Clallam County Economic Development Council received the 2025 Innovation in Economic Development award last month for its Clallam Forest Product Innovation Program at the Natural Resources Innovation Center—designed to revitalize the local forest products industry; the program, supported by a $4.2 million grant and more than $1 million from local partners, will launch requests for proposals next month to begin 12 planned actions including workforce development and manufacturing expansion.
