Washington State Parks and Washington Coastsavers are co-hosting the Washington Coast Cleanup on Saturday at Pacific Coast and Salish Sea beaches.

Volunteers will check in at Port Angeles (Harborview Park, 700 Ediz Hook Road, 9 a.m. to noon) and need a Discover Pass to access state lands.

A recent water outlook shows Olympic Basin snowpack at 35% of normal as of April 1, potentially reducing Elwha and Dungeness river flows to about 60% of normal this spring and summer.

Warmer, drier conditions could strain local water supplies.

Today, the Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association high school team competed at the Lake Stevens Regatta with Noah Oberly recording the second-fastest U-17 time, and later Local 155 rallied from a four-run deficit to win an 11-7 Babe Ruth game with a critical two-run hit in the fifth inning.
