- ➤ Jack Grennan American Legion Post 62 and the Michael Trebert Chapter will host a Vietnam Veterans Day tribute at 6 p.m. Thursday at Legion Hall, 107 E. Prairie St., Sequim. - ➤ Lake Crescent Lodge and Singer’s Table opened Friday at Olympic National Park, while Log Cabin Resort and Shoreline Kitchen will open on May 15. - ➤ The State Department of Natural Resources announced that three campgrounds in Clallam County will see partial or full closures this year due to $8 million in funding cuts; Upper Clearwater shuts Jun. 1 and Bear Creek plus Lyre River close Sept. 15 until next April.
