- ➤ Four people were taken to hospital after a motorcycle hit a pickup on State Highway 19 near West Valley Road in Chimacum—motorcycle rider Michael Erby and his passenger Alexis Mackay were taken at about 7:15 p.m. on Sunday in critical condition to Harborview Medical Center while driver Anna Frank and her passenger Kristina Dosey were treated at Jefferson Healthcare. - ➤ Port Angeles School District maintained a cash balance of $3.8 million and enrollment that never slipped below 3,258 students, with Seaview Academy’s count rising from 269 in September to 392 in May. The board also held a $30 million bond sale—secured by local investors—to fund design for a new high school and Franklin Elementary School, while graduation rates at Port Angeles High stayed above 90 percent.
