The board will discuss renaming Stevens Middle School at its July 24 meeting while Olsen faces budget challenges and plans three new schools by 2029—addressing issues like declining enrollment and state funding cuts. The sale includes about 2.5 acres with a four-lane boat launch and parking (the only developed launch for motorized boats between Neah Bay and Port Angeles) and requires a Discover Pass or WDFW Vehicle Access Pass for day use. - ➤ The NOHC board voted to reject Port Angeles’ offer of just over $750,000 for the Lincoln School property planned for multi-family housing—citing that moving artifacts would cost about $2 million.
