Fire crews controlled a small wildfire near Lake Crescent by last night after smoke was reported Monday afternoon from the east side of the lake.
The Storm King Road Fire covered about one acre and was located half a mile northeast of East Beach Road.
🏛️ Government
Drivers in Port Angeles face delays at 5th and Lincoln as the signal on U.S. Highway 101 has been out since Monday — WSDOT is replacing the control cabinet, so motorists are urged to treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
Port Angeles Public Works and state DOT crews responded Tuesday when a traffic signal at Fifth and Lincoln went out—drivers used stop signs at the intersection on U.S. Highway 101 until the new signal cabinet is installed.
