At the Makah Museum in Neah Bay, the Makah Cultural and Research Center is celebrating its 46th anniversary on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. More than 20 Makah tribal members and local vendors will offer traditional art and food while elder Steve Jimmicum shares stories at 1 p.m. — a celebration of cultural heritage.

Muralist Adam Nelson—based in Port Angeles—painted a mountainscape on the north wall of Drake’s U-Bake Pizza & Subs yesterday and said the work would take about two days to complete.
