🚧 Accidents
A weed burner sparked a house fire Saturday at the 100 block of Hurricane Ridge Road in SunLand near Sequim that displaced two residents and led fire crews from three districts to quickly stop the flames (officials warn dry summer conditions can let even small fires spread).
🌲 Environment
On Monday, aerial observers reported smoke rising from the Mount Tom Creek fire in Olympic National Park near Mount Olympus (a rugged, forested terrain) despite weekend rain that slowed the blaze.
