- ➤ Port Angeles Noon Rotary will host an electronics recycling event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at State Farm Insurance on E. Front St. Residents can drop off electronics while following directions (turn right onto North Albert St., then right into the alley and loop through the back of the parking lot) and are encouraged to donate $5 for small items or $10 to $20 for larger or multiple items to support local scholarships, beautification projects and community programs. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A small plane crashed in a remote area of Olympic National Park near Quinault on Tuesday at 6:50 p.m.—with one person dead and two injured as park rangers and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Search and Rescue responded while investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board began looking into the crash.
