Bob Ferguson visited the scene of a tanker truck crash on Sunday that spilled 3,000 gallons of fuel into Indian Creek—a tributary of the Elwha River west of Port Angeles—which killed hundreds of fish and temporarily disrupted the city’s drinking water until tests confirmed it was safe.
