- ➤ The PREP program at Peninsula College, funded by a $4.3 million Gates Foundation grant, has helped more than 1,300 local high school juniors and seniors with college advising and offered campus tours to over 800 students—these efforts began last fall in Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap and Mason counties.
