- ➤ At Saturday’s Joyce Daze Wild Blackberry Festival grand parade, Darren Peacock drove his 1949 Gibson Super D2 tractor down state Highway 112 amid a strong crowd. Organizer John Kent gave the key to the city to honorary mayor Emil Moilanen— a retired teacher from Joyce School— while the festival also featured a blackberry pie contest and a farewell performance by bluegrass group Luck of the Draw.
