Clallam Transit System is seeking county residents for its Community Advisory Committee to advise on transit service and outreach across Clallam County.
Applicants aged 16+ must apply online by 4 p.m. Sept. 30 to serve an initial 18-month term with mileage reimbursement.

Jonathan Pasternack, conductor of the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra, will address Soroptimist International tomorrow at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church (510 E.
Park Ave.) while discussing the orchestra’s 2026-2027 season; the meeting is open to the public.

Port Angeles football lost 56-6 at Mount Baker after an 80-yard run on the first play, while Sequim’s Wolves stopped play with a 28-0 deficit because of a player shortage; both teams have games scheduled for Friday and local tennis, volleyball and soccer contests continue later today.
