- ➤ The Dungeness Crab Festival on the Port Angeles waterfront on Saturday attracted thousands who enjoyed crab dinners, music, cooking demonstrations and a craft fair — a celebration of the area's seafood offerings. Peninsula Daily News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Clallam County Fire District 3 received two new fire engines — one for Carlsborg and one for Sequim — that will begin daily operations in early November, replacing older trucks that had been in service for 18 years. A similar engine is scheduled for early delivery in 2026 to serve the Blyn station. Peninsula Daily News
