- ➤ Because the federal government shutdown stops events at the Coast Guard Air Station, organizers have moved tomorrow's Veterans Day ceremony to the Port Angeles High School auditorium, where doors will open at 10 a.m.—the event will run from 11 a.m. to noon with retired Navy Captain Mike Hakanson as the guest speaker and live music provided by local bands.
