🏘️ Community
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula announced Tuesday that its annual 'We Grow Our Own' auction raised a record $781,500 to support youth programs in Port Angeles and Sequim.
More than 400 community members attended the event — which featured storytelling, a live auction, a dessert dash, and a $100,000 matching gift — to help keep membership fees at $30 per year.
Cyclists will join CRANKSGIVING at the Port Angeles Farmers Market this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. They will form teams to buy listed food items with cash and gear and deliver the donations to the food bank—prizes go to the top contributors.
🌲 Environment
Work at Waterfront Vista Park is part of a 10-year plan to stabilize the bluff by removing invasive plants and preparing to plant 43 native dogwood trees on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon—this work aims to improve safety and restore the view for locals and visitors.
