- ➤ The Olympic Peninsula Bicycling Alliance has disbanded after hosting bike rodeos and the Tour de Lavender ride for years—board members then gave its remaining funds of $3,969 each to eight local groups. The volunteer group was started in 2017 by Ken Stringer and other bike enthusiasts to make biking safer and more fun in the area. Peninsula Daily News

- ➤ 7 Cedars Resort will offer Holiday Light Tours starting Saturday for $15 per person, with tours departing from the hotel’s front entrance to visit lighted tribal sites such as the Railroad Bridge near the Dungeness River Nature Center—reservations are required due to limited space. The resort will also host free holiday events in December including live music, a switch event and a gingerbread house contest that offer extra attractions for visitors. Peninsula Daily News

- ➤ W. Ron Allen, chairman and CEO of Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, was named to the National Native American Hall of Fame at a gala in Oklahoma City on Nov. 1 — his leadership grew the tribe from a zero-resource base to an annual budget over $100 million and a land base of more than 1,800 acres. He joined five other inductees, including former Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, in receiving this honor. Peninsula Daily News
