- ➤ A state tsunami study has advised steps to enhance Port Angeles' waterfront safety and guide evacuation plans, focusing on both local port improvements and community protection. - ➤ WSDOT announced a new traffic pattern on Highway 101 east of Port Angeles with lane closures beginning 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 through Thursday, Dec. 11.
