- ➤ The Peninsula Trails Coalition is expanding the Olympic Discovery Trail with a 4-mile section opening in Jefferson near Anderson Lake in 2026+ it also plans a new bridge near Forks and additional land acquisitions for trail improvements. Peninsula Daily News
- ➤ Volunteers from the Michael Trebert Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution unloaded 1,365 wreaths from Wreaths Across America at the Mount Angeles Cemetery on Thursday — the wreaths will be laid at five cemeteries Saturday morning to honor veterans’ graves. Peninsula Daily News
