On Wednesday, crews from Port Angeles Fire Department and Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue responded to a house fire on the 2000 Block of Dan Kelly Road, rescuing one occupant and three dogs before extinguishing the flame and prompting the Red Cross to assist with emergency housing.
🎓 Education
On Thursday night, Port Angeles school board members welcomed new directors Nancy Hamilton and Ned Hammar with Judge Simon Barnhart administering the oath.
The meeting reviewed steady progress on Hurricane Ridge Middle School construction and planning for Franklin Elementary and the high school auditorium, plus improvements at Monroe Playfield.
